I hate a thief.. Don't you? I had promised pictures of the last days of school, however, my house was broken into while I was out of town for class this past week. The lovely criminals stole my brand new tv, my iPod, and my camera I use at school. Worst of all and most heartbreakingly... they took every piece of jewelry that meant anything to me (besides what I had with me)...each piece of jewelry I have ever been given...gifts and heirlooms...all irreplaceable. The fact that I will probably never see the ring I got when my Granny passed away or my locket my mom gave me when I was little with my and my sister's picture breaks my heart.
I always try to see the best in people, but when things like this happen, I can't help but wonder what our world is coming to. All we can do is pray that we do the best job we can installing in our kids how important it is to be honest, kind, and hardworking.
For all of you who are faithful readers, thank you for taking the time to always read my ramblings. I know this post isn't teacher related, but it's real life and something we need to be aware of...

Obviously I've been a slacker....sorry! Grad school is consuming my life, but I am learning SO much! I am actually blogging during a class break. Wow do I have a busy summer! Class all week this week from 8:30-4:30, homework and (hopefully) putting my classroom back together next week, and then another week of class and lots more homework....then wedding festivities for one of my best friends, beach trip with the family, and our K-conference at the end of July. I am hoping to get some pictures up of the last few weeks of school (oceans and kindergarten graduation fun) sometime soon, but if not....forgive me! I hope everyone is having a FABULOUS summer! When you gat ready to start panning for the beginning of your school year, check out my TPT store! I made new units for Pete the Cat and Brown Bear! I hope you like them!
