About those pictures...

I hate a thief.. Don't you? I had promised pictures of the last days of school, however, my house was broken into while I was out of town for class this past week. The lovely criminals stole my brand new tv, my iPod, and my camera I use at school. Worst of all and most heartbreakingly... they took every piece of jewelry that meant anything to me (besides what I had with me)...each piece of jewelry I have ever been given...gifts and heirlooms...all irreplaceable. The fact that I will probably never see the ring I got when my Granny passed away or my locket my mom gave me when I was little with my and my sister's picture breaks my heart.

I always try to see the best in people, but when things like this happen, I can't help but wonder what our world is coming to. All we can do is pray that we do the best job we can installing in our kids how important it is to be honest, kind, and hardworking.

For all of you who are faithful readers, thank you for taking the time to always read my ramblings. I know this post isn't teacher related, but it's real life and something we need to be aware of...

  5. I'm sorry to hear it too. It's such a violation. I don't know how anyone can do that to someone else and live with themselves--one of the reasons I believe in karma.
